Im still digging mine for the most part. Didnt have a good practice with it the other night but those happen. Im thinking problem was the singer was not able to sing at full level in order to save wear on his voice so we had to keep the volume down and I didnt flip it over to 20 watts so I could open the volumes up more. Anyway, we'll see how the gig goes Sunday.

But this is a good representaion of what mine sounds like but this guy is a MUCH better player than me.

When is someone going to post some clips using buckers?

I hear ya. He's using a JB Jr like I do, sure its not a true bucker but I like it. That said I understand it would be really cool to hear a demo with a real bucker, also I'd really like to hear a Les Paul demo with it.

I believe that I will be, in fact, I'm planning on playing with my "new" HD camcorders and do some video/multitrack audio with the Alchemist. I've got some new small diaphragm condensors I've been dying to try out too.

I finally played one of these today..... GREAT sounding amp, I really liked it, granted like most say, it wont do the Brootz, but will definetely get in the Thrash genre easily. I'd love to have one.

Also play the Egnater Rebel, another really cool amp, I REALLY want to hear it cranked and boosted. I bet it sounds outstanding.

Maybe my ears were deceiving me, but I thought there was a great "Brootulz" tone in there. Granted, it wasn't that ultra-fast, tight metal response, but I found a high gain tone that I thought was smoking.

When I say "Brootz" I think more along the lines of, scooped Recto/Uber/Engl tones.... But I could see someone getting it there, but I'm more of an old school thrash tone guy, with a bit of Dimebag thrown in for good measure. :D

Regardless, I thought it was a KILLER amp. I will probably wait till they hit the used market abit and come down, but I'd LOVE to have one.

You're right then, this thing won't do any of those tones. The Uber is one of the few amps that I want back in my "collection" at some point. Like my VHT/D412 rig though, I need the whole package because to me, the Uber and Uberkab and a match made in heaven.

Well no real need for the hum clips on my end now as I just tried the alchemist head and 212 cab with a traditional LP. Sound freakin' great! Real versatile and will get as heavy as I'll ever need. Now I have to either forget about it or sell my Shiva
