Just curious what kind of reliable and quality rack gear that is out there that can be had for cheap or just a cool rack effect unit/processor/eq/whatever that you use and love. Thanks!

i've got an old rocktron pro gap v2.0. skip the pre sets and it can go from clean to scream. very much 80's metalish. iirc i payed less than 100 bucks for it. it's eeprom so there are no batteries to replace.

played many years with a pro gap! Wish I still had one to a/b against all the modeling shit out today!

The Intellifex you have for sale currently is my favorite effects processor at the moment. Very meat and potatoes while still being transparent enough to run in a serial loop.

You can pick-up an Alesis Midiverb III or 4 for $80 - $100. I've used one for years and like the chorus patches better than any similar priced chorus pedals. Plus it has some nice delay and reverb patches...

midiverbs are cheap and decent.

i've also got a digitech dsp 128 and an art x 11 midi controller that i can use with the gap. i wish the art had expression pedals though.

Just looking for FX?

primarily yea.

but any good older wireless rack units, equalizer rack units, tuners, audio switchers for channels and effects/what ever!

cant forget the old roland delays

tc g-major

alesis quadraverb

thats all that i know of off of the top of my head for now :)

Rocktron Intellifex. Especially the old black one but the Intellifex Online worked great to. G-Major never gave me any problems either.

Not the cheapest option but the G-Major 2 through the effects loop of my 5150III sounds great. I use it primarily for delays, reverbs, and chorus.

i've also got an old dod spectrum r 895 that i got from a friend for 40 bucks. it's analog. i use it in the loop of my laney aor for chorus.. flange and delay. it sounds great and i can turn it on and via footswitch.. but the down side is that i can only do one effect at a time. i used to use it to add effects to miked snare drums.

I think these are Cool, inexpensive rack gear options:

Rocktron: Intellifex, Intelliverb, Replifex, HushIICX
Yamaha: SPX90, SPX90II, SPX900
Roland: Dep5, SDE3000
Furman PQ3
TC Electronic: G-Major, M-One
Rane SM26 Splitter Line Mixer
