for nearly 10 grand that thing better play itself. some of their private stock pricing is insane.

I'd love to be able to check out his entire PS line up. My goodness some of the goodies in there... I subscribe to "Guitarist" magazine from the UK, and there's a fair bit of press in that mag for his high end wares. Some of those guitars are just off the hook. But honestly, this one in the post doesn't do it for me. Not sure why, it's beautiful and all, but I'm not gushing over it.

It is what it is.

Awesome quilted top on that one, not a fan of the color though.

I'm not a fan of untraditional "bursts" like this. And by "untraditional", I mean in terms of the pattern of the burst. I'm also not a fan of the colour, and most certainly am not a fan of the price tag.

But I can see how others would love it.

I do tend to believe this guitar will likely end up spending the next 20 or 30 years in a case somewhere, collecting dust. There's much better uses for $10k than that.

I like how it begins in the ultraviolet but care like the bonnie pink mixed into it. Cool but not my thing, I think I'd like them more separately

Love the top and the purple but I could do without the pink.

I enjoy some of the PRS tops but not this one. Just personal taste.

You never know.

I am friends with two of the biggest (in fact, probably THE biggest) PRS collectors on the planet. They each have more than 50 Private Stocks (as well as other limited runs), and they gig their guitars. In addition, they invite other people over to play them.

I really like it but would never dare dropping the coin on something that much.

Raspberry Dragon's Breath,
Gorgeous Paint Scheme!!!
For $9536.00, It better be
Painted with Actual Dragon Saliva!
Don't see the justification for the
Incredible price increase, for a paint job.

Squank - do either or both of these guys live in Indiana? Just curious...
