IMO, SSL is doing everything right. Bringing down the cost of some of there 500 series, their software, coming out with new ideas like this one which give you everything you need: Preamps with voicing, inserts, conversion. These guys are making analog accessible again and geared towards the hybrid setup which more and more people are getting into.
