I want a GigRig, and that tone soooooo bad

man at 4:20 he does a patch by accident that is UNBELIEVABLE - then changes it to that setup he was talking about and the tone suffers big time.

wish i knew what he was using at 4:20 for those few seconds.

the guys got it nailed. love the tone of that echoplex, ill always miss playing the EP-2 i did. simply unbelievable. if only they were road worthy :aww:

I've heard good things about running more road-friendly delays into the EP Pre-amp pedal copies to cop that tone. Maybe look into that?

thats what ive got designed so far to buy. a strymon dtape echo and an exotic ep boost to vary the presence boost right before it. i still believe that the "wow" factor of experiencing a maestro echo ever again will be slim to none - it is a very awsome experience if you use delays - especially since my experience has always been digital delays. it was almost spiritual

my experience was like that one guy that test drove zachman's rig at a guitar store. i was like that with an EP-2.

I don't know why, but I just can't get into Delay/Echo. I'll use it sometimes for crazy spacial effects, but not in the way that its used here. And yet I love that tone, and want to have it. I don't know what it is, I'm just not a big fan of delay. I need to get into it!
