cool Steve Stevens lesson video

I have watched that a lot since the last time some one posted that here..

That intro to Rebel Yell kills me..

Crap, he's good. Seems quite a few of Billy's songs are in B. He's got a deep voice, though.

Saying "cool" and "Steve Stevens" in the same sentence is redundant.

Thanks for posting that Brad. He makes guitar playing seem fun.

Great player no doubt. I lost respect for him back in '88 when he was a complete dick to kid who asked for his autograph in Manny's.

Jeez the guy doesn't age. Crazy. Cool guitar player.

Haha yeh when I saw them last month my g.f. couldn't believe Steve Stevens was 51 and Bill Idol 54 or so..

And he was still wearing the black nail polish with his hair teased up 10 inches above his head..

Just a monster guitar player! To this day he did one of the best live solo's Ive ever seen when he was with Vince Neil.

yeah. I can't believe how much I ignored and (disliked?) him when he was getting magazine covers for being with Billy Idol. I guess I was pretty close-minded back in the 80's. His work on the vince neil album is legendary. His solo album from last year is awesome. Cant hurt with dug singing on Day of the Eagle

Steve is way cool, but why the black nail polish?

I'm not sure why what he chooses to wear on is finger nails matters enough to even mention. :dunno:

Evidently it matters enough to him to wear it. I am not sure where you are from or where you hang out, but I never see men wearing nail polish. It stands out to me.

Why did you fail to comment to the person who mentioned teasing up his hair? ...or are you only selective toward me?

Never was a fan until a few years ago but I thought it was cool that he is still the same after all these years..

The audience yelled and applauded louder for him than Billy Idol that Night..

The 2 new songs they played ripped..

Cool "Eye's" demo.
I'll never forget the first time I heard that song.
I had moved out on my own for the first time and
was actually starting to get life a little bit.
I first heard the song at 5am right before leaving for work
at a fruit packing warehouse which I had to walk 2 miles
to get there.
The days of the green horn :D

Never really cared for him in the 80's as a guitar player nor do I care for him now. I never really understood where the whole guitar hero status came from. The Billy Idol songs were all quite good but I don't recall any monster guitar work. I saw him with Vince Neil, that was basically a cheese band performance. Is it his look that men go crazy about? I'm sure he is a nice guy but no praise and worship from me.

Seriously, have you really listened to his lead work on that album? It's oustanding and pretty different than what anybody else was doing at that time.

I was a huge fan from day one when I first heard Billy and Steve.
Their songs and his playing always invigorate me. Just awesome.

My little tip of the hat to Steve.....

I can 2nd the polished nails thing. No one here has their nails polished unless they are hanging downtown and usually those guys are wearing short miniskirts and their balls are hanging out     :emofag: :grim: :gay: :emofag: :grim:
