yes; they haven't even conducted an internal investigation; all of the cops are still working for the county. no one has been held accountable. it was only the fact that it was captured on their body cameras - and the footage didn't magically disappear - that we know what we know. doesn't seem to make a difference. as long as police have qualified immunity, it's the taxpayers that have to pay for their misdeeds.
The cops are retarded too. They basically don't hire anyone with an IQ above 100 cause people with intelligence question the stupid orders others blindly follow.
They could have not escalated; there were at least two armed cops at the start, more within a few minutes. No reason to slam the guy down on concrete with enough force to break his neck in multiple places.
I also didn't see him resisting, he was confused and asking questions. When the first two cops ran toward him, he stopped and put his hands out to his sides so the could see them, and they tackled him the first time in the grass, hand cuffed him and walked him over to the tables at a pavillion...
In the footage I saw, I did not see the man resist until they ordered him to stand up after they paralyzed him and he could no longer stand up.
