I've got a whole slew of Kreator albums constantly shuffling on the old ipod too!

I don't know that I could really pick a favorite as every album just flat out 's

Coma of Souls, Extreme Aggression, Hordes of Chaos, Terrible Certainty, Phantom Antichrist, Cause for Concern....Fucking all great albums. I've got Outcast to, but that one is bit outside the box there. Still great but definitely atypical Kreator.

I watched a couple interviews with Mille where he said they weren't gonna release a album just for the sake of putting out an new album. He said they want it to be something worthwhile and that it would take as long as needed. I hope this one is just all out German thrash brutality!

Nothing but love for Kreator since "pleasure to kill". Bought every album since them. Last several were great. Always a couple of riffs worth learning on every one. Great music for driving a truck.

Also note, my extreme aggression Is my favorite engl I have had. Thanks, Cujo!!

Just plugged in and busted out "awaking of the gods" and "pleasure to kill" riffs thru my ENGL Mille amp. Drinking some blueberry vodka and soda,about to go get me some more of that Kreator riffage going.

Thanks for the thread. Got my juices flowing. Up next, "enemy of God" and "violent revolution"!! Oooo! I know a bunch of stuff off "terrible certainty". That album has tons of great riffs on it. Let's see if the cops show up.

Awesome riffage! Back in the late 80's a band that I was in did Awakening and Pleasure to Kill. Also Pestilence, Take Their Lives and Riot of Violence. That stuff was so fast and fun to play back then.

That wave of German Thrash was imo, a superior form over many other bands.


Extreme aggression, pleasure to kill, terrible certainty.. their best albums imo.

I actually got into Kreator before hearing much Slayer. By the time I did give Slayer a shot, I wasn't impressed - Kreator just has better riffs/songs to my ears. That said, I haven't bought anything newer than Enemy of God from them.
