Does anyone use a boost with their uber? what are the results?

Also, I need a footswitch. Any recommends? I'll call Bogner and see what they charge too.

Snow day!!!! NICE

I've used a boost for tightness on TwinJets and Rev.2s. I'm not a fan of any stomp in the front of most high gainers and it's the tone of the amp I want to work with specifically. But, that said, there's something about adding a bit of a push to the front end to allow for more "immediacy" in the playing response, as well as tightening up the bass.

Just my opinion.

Oh, and ya, footswitch - I'd call Bogner HQ and order direct.

I like two levels of gain with my Rec2, lower gain around straight up 12:00 noon for chunky tight rhythm playing and higher gain around 3:00 for solos. I keep my amp set to 12:00 and use my Timmy pedal set clean to bring the level back up to match what I get at 3:00. Works wonderfully!!

That's a great set up and I like the rythm and lead settings. I'm still working the clean channel for some mild crunch. So far the blue pedal works nicely with the clean but I bet a timmy would be excellent.

Been keeping my Rev Blue GAIN at 10:00 on the dial. I use a Timmy as a boost which adds gain and crispness to the notes. I've also been going between a BB-Preamp and a OCD v4 which both sound great with different amounts of gain and attack for solos and such. Timmy is a keeper, but cannot make up my mind with the BB & OCD...they both sound great but do different things with the attack and tone. BB-Preamp definately has te most gain of the bunch, and the Timmy sounds more natural. I am boosting the "volume" knobs high on each pedal, with the "gains" set relatively low.

I like my gain at around 1:30 or so and a Maxon 808 set with the drive off, tone set at 11:00, and level at noon. Provides a nice balance of being able go go from rhythm and leads without adjustment.
