Nice, the one on the right looks like a Rev G though?

The one on the right has the rev F board, serial loop, etc, but it has rev G transformers and a rev G shell. A rev F# you could say.

Was the board replaced at some time or is this all original?

From what I can gather is that at some point early in the 90s it suffered a major fall which destroyed the headshell and damaged the transformers. It was then repaired with "G" parts.

There’s no “Rev F” or “Rev G” transformers per se (i.e., transformers specifically made for or exclusively used in those amps). The transformers most people call “Rev G” transformers were already in production by Schumacher and in stock at Mesa for a majority of the run of Rev F (late ‘92/start of ‘93). The reason you see a majority of Fs with the 562100/561136 is because Mesa was just using up their stock. If they had less on hand, almost all Rev Fs and Gs would have used the same ones.

You’ll find both sets on Rev F. It’s not terribly uncommon. The mid 1000s serials had a batch where they must have grabbed a box of 140s because you’ll find a good bit of them on Rev Fs in consecutive numbers.

My long winded way of saying it’s possible those transformers in the Rev F are completely stock, and even if they’re not, the models you find throughout the rest of the ‘90s are sonically the exact same thing. You’re not missing anything.

That is true,. I'm just going off of what the gentleman I bought it from told me as well as what Mesa said when it was recapped in '18.

They are Magnetic Components transformers (EIA-166). If I am reading the codes right the transformers are from 2000 and 2002 so it looks like the repairs were made in the early 2000s not the mid-90s.

Regardless it RIPS!!!!

Those are definitely replacements you have, but work all the same. I think I have a few of those as well as some Schumachers in storage somewhere around here, haha.
