Is your Blades different from Jeff's? His clip was more how i dial in my Marshalls, yours is dialed in pretty heavy.. Nothing wrong with that of course! What speakers in the Lynchbox? Clip sound cool!

Yup same voice. I knew the clips have a tendency to record bright so I dialed it in a little darker then I normally play it.
The cabs have emenince super v speakers.
was using my esp custom kamikaze and using two 4x12s. Volume level was probably small club level.

Clips both sound good Dan. The Blades is pretty brown and that recto is stunning. I can see that being a keeper for sure.

Thanks man. I am pretty settled with these 2. Both Amps sound stellar.

So drummer coming over tonite.
Gonna try some band jam clips in the new space.
Pretty excited. Should be fun.
Expect a few "old style " videos from me.
Hahaha

Cool clippage!
Thanks Ray! Again that was just plopping the zoom in the middle. I need to play around with amp volumes and camera placement to find the sweet spot.

To answer the PM's...
I am plugged straight into both amps. No OD on these clips.

Does OD refer to one of the front-panel mini toggles (lo-off-hi)? And either way, does that switch engage solid-state clipping circuit(s)?

one more question: are any of the functions foot switchable on the firebolt?

Correct. I had no over drive pedal in front. But had the internal overdrive on. Pretty sure it is clipping diodes when engaged.
No foot switch on the amp. It's all manual changes.

Regarding the internal OD: does the volume drop when the OD is engaged? If so, it's solid-state clipping.
Regarding the manual switching: that's how I do it on my V2 Caldera too (at the moment, at least).

Yes sir. Volume drops. Tone kicks in.

Sounds good buddy! They both have that "ripping" mean thing going on

Thanks guys! I am really happy with both amps.
They sorta sound similar in the clips but in the room they are 2 different beasts.

You need to come down and check tthem out Jordan.
Sure you would dig both amps. :D

Dan, I have to say both of those amps are completely killer! Amazing.

Sounds totally awesome Dan.

Thanks, now my GAS is kickin' in again. :)

Thanks guys. Both amps to me are at the top of the food chain.
We played for about 4 hours last Saturday. It was almost like 2 different jam sessions. Did the rock set with the blades forthe first hours. Then went metal mahem the last couple hours with the Mesa.
Awesome tone all night. Can't be happier.
