Crab Rangoons

My wife likes crab rangoons, i mostly don't because around here the filling is usually lame.
99% cream cheese, no flavor.
Decided to try and make some, but tasty.

Fake crab (diced small)
Water chestnuts (diced small)
Cream cheese
Dark soy sc
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Grated ginger
Shaoxing wine
Sesame oil

Won ton wrappers
Egg wash

Veg oil for frying

Of course one of them leaked and fucked up the oil
But the rest of them turned out delicious!
Having trouble posting pics in the order that i want them, will post pics in another post.

Next batch, i'll just make triangle shapes. Seems like they would be less likely to leak VS the purse shape.

If they are triangle shapes, they are now crab wontons

Looks good man! There's exactly one restaurant in a 50 mile radius who gets crab rangoons correct here, most .... dont

When they are good they are really good though
