Well....if you must :D .

Found this Lawsuit Lotus on C list for a steal. Figured What the hell. Set neck, brass nut, solid so why not? It needs work. I got it home tuned it up and I have to say I am SHOCKED!!!!! This thing sounds F'n awesome. I do not know anything about these guitars. It will be a nice wall hanger and something to f around with when I feel like it.

Nice man!
Gear is a crap shoot.
Gotta roll the bones sometimes.

Hey Big D.

Hope you are enjoying our holiday. Win, Lose??? I don't know. For the $ it really does not matter. All I know is with a little TLC. This thing could "pass" for a player. I think....

Nice!!
Yup happy Presidents' Day!
Looking for a LP.
When your ready to sell hit me up.

Some of my best guitars are a $300 and under les paul copies

My first guitar was a lotus lp copy. I don't know anything about them but I like the zw theme. Congratulations

Looks pretty nice to me! There are plenty of LP copies that are killer guitars under $500.

There's a place in the world for Plywood guitars.

My first LP in 1982' was a Hondo II LPC.

I suspect that once you play a Gibson LP or similar you'll forget all about this one.

Dan......

Listen, I have 5 LP's so I am very aware of the differences. I am not going to get into a debate on the real deal vs. the knockoff. It was a purchase for next to nothing and if you would have read the last line in my original post you would see my intentions.

So please, have fun with this like the rest of us and understand that everyone here knows that there is no comparison (or should be) between this and a real LP.

Sweet. My 1st electric guitar 24 years ago was a Lotus strat copy. I think I paid $100 for it. It had a plywood body (heavy!) but it actually sounded good and played very well.

You should have stuck with that one and saved yourself tons of money. It wouldn't sound any worse with you on it.

Actually i had 2 Gibson SG's one with a broken neck.

So i broke out the SG neck, buttered it up with some plastic wood putty, sanded it to proper fit and bolted it to the Hondo body with a Dimarzio SD pup in the bridge.

I played in bands for several years and it always sounded good with a JMP for what it was.

The Hondo neck was Bogus ...

I gave that guitar to a chicks kid i banged while on tour, he was ape about guitars.

Don't know what ever happened to it.
