Craigslist San Fran Mesa Trem o verb good deal!!

I had one just like this, was a 1994. Quite a but different fro. Other Rectos, very middy mean grownly gain. Very cool amp. Miss it sometimes and I have a few other Rectos and it just not the same.
 
I paid $600 for my (what I am pretty sure is) ref F tremoverb. Killer deal to be had, but I really would not like dragging a 100lb combo around. It's hard to move a 2x12 combo as far as resale goes.

Great Amp though. For me, I consider it legendary status.
 
$200 in LDR's later.... i love early tremoverbs, but they all eventually need certain LDR's replaced on the board. probably why mesa made at least 2 versions of it.
 
Dual Rec with tremolo. That sounds like a recipe for Country Metal, which of course is what's happening on the radio now-a-days, right? Just the other day while driving to work and listening to the radio, I thought I had hit a college station that was playing some Metallica or Slayer or something like Creed for a couple of seconds and then the twanky vocals came in and, well, I saw I was tuned into "Today's 'Hot Country' 92.5", shit, this tremoverb amp fills that spot for sure.
 
I have never used the tremolo on mine. Probably literally since I demo'd it nearly a decade ago. Don't get too excited about that part. It's slightly different than any of the other recs, not just a rec with tremolo. It also has reverb and is voiced differently than the others. Mine could however be slightly different than that because I have a rev f tremoverb.
