Crate Blue Voodoo Cab - English Celestion V30's?

Hey Folks, I'm looking at a Crate Blue Doodoo half stack locally for $380.
The Cab is the V30 loaded cab, seller provided pictures of the backs of the speakers.

They're swearing up and down the V30's are "the best cause they're 90's and enlgish made" blah blah. I know people covet these more than the chinese so I figure the speakers may cover the cost of the whole setup to the right buyer.

How does one tell if they're 90's and English made to be sure?

That's a pretty good price, even if the v30's are Chinese. Terrible preamp, but it's still a functional and loud 6L6 power amp.

I'd honestly sell the amp and keep the cab. Hoping to get between 200-250 for the head and be into the cab for as little as possible.

i have one of these with v30s and its as good any of my other 4x12s. im pretty sure mine are english??

Mine has British V30’s. Made of Birch and has stuck around while many others have been flipped. Sounds close to my Mesa OS 4x12 with V30’s

Were they even making those speakers anywhere but England in the 90's?

Edit: Also, I'm pretty sure if they say "Ipswitch, England" on them, they are English made. The Chinese made speakers just say "Celestion International". Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in here.

Not necessarily, Celestion moved to China and continued to produce the speakers with the Ipswitch, England sticker on them for a while. My guess is left over stickers already on the magnets.

You should have "made in UK" or "50" for China, printed on a white sticker.
