Posted this a few other places too but thought I'd post it here too.

You can use a Two Notes Captor (or any Reactive Load with a DI Output) and an Impulse Response (IR) loader in your DAW to act a a cab for making Profiles with your Kemper.

I used Reaper and Helix Native as an IR loader but any DAW and IR loader will work.

I didn't use any high or low cuts on the IR but you can adjust to taste. The Profiles come out absolutely perfect.

I did similar but with a Suhr and a Waza Tae but wasn't so happy with the profiles. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if I'm just too picky. Maybe I have too much gain? I noticed the highs on my high gain amp profiles have this really digital shrill sound to them. Almost like how a Fortin grind or 33 pedal adds a metalic clanky tone if that makes sense. Not a fan of that metal clank. As an alternative I started going straight from the loadbox (line out) to the kemper and choosing no cabinet when profiling and later add/drag and drop IRS straight into Rig Manager which works surprisingly well.

I used to take my Profiles directly from the Output of the Captor and use the "No Cabinet" option when making the Profile and I would disable the Cab block on the Kemper when taking the Profile. I would then add an IR in the Kemper to the Profile and I could never get the Profile to sound as good as the amp. The real amp always was richer and had more bite than the Profile, even when I would try to EQ the hell out of the Profile on the Kemper I could never get it to match the amp.

For whatever reason using the DI (Komplete Audio 6) and an IR while making the Profile sounds exactly like the amp when I A/B them against each other. I'm not doing crazy high gain though, standard tuning and a little drop D.

The TAE looks like and incredible piece of gear. I just can't swing the $$$ on one and I've got almost all the pieces and parts as separate items.

The adjustable Resonance is a really interesting feature (I didn't realize how much of a difference it actually can make) and the integrated power amp is a cool idea. I can't believe how much stuff they packed all into that one box.

I checked out your YT channel and Soundcloud. You've got some damn good grooves going on there. Good stuff man.

Thanks man and yeah the TAE is overkill but awesome   You know I'm going to try again with the waza + IR loader out and do what you suggested. The first time I did it I was in a rush to hurry before I had to pick up the kids which wont be a problem now with the quarantine lol. Definitely would love to have a profile sound just like my amp. Keep up the good work dude!
