Ok, I know what it is. But I don't know what it sounds like. Any clips out there of what crossover distortion (on a guitar amp) sound like?

Just listen to any 5150 clip. It's the harsh crunch that seems to sit inbetween the positive and negative cycles of the regular tube distortion.
Should be able to hear some on a dual rec also but hard to define when the rec has so much available gain.
I hate crossover distortion with a passion but many metal guys like it. Afaiac it is the sole reason the 5150 is popular other than price.
