SEVEN GRAND???
some douche with too much money and not enough talent will pay for this shit though and say how it's the greatest thing EVARZ!!!!!!! Bound to happen

The Quest For The Perfect Tone is OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think fragile harmonics can only survive on Crystal Frets though.

Cant wait to hear them, i for one would buy if I had the cash and the claims are true, which they should be given the laws of density.

Why shy away from new guitar technology if it actually works? let's see where it goes from here.

Guitarists fall into teo categories when it comes to gear:

"Good Enoughs" or perfectionists, these will be for the latter if they work.

make the price REASONABLE, and they would have a TON of customers.... jeez why is it so hard for companies like this to understand?

You know.. If they actually made a REALLY big difference (which I don't know if they do or not), then I would consider it.

I remember when all I had was a little Stagg practice amp... I thought it sounded good. And then I tried a Marshall... The difference between the two was like night at day. So I saved up the $1000 or whatever over a long period of time (which is a truck load of cash to a 13 year old), and bought it.
IF the difference between Crystal Frets and normal frets is also night and day, then I don't see how it's not the next big thing.

They are pretty but what about the metal on metal from the bridge and locking nut? So how can they claim there is no distortion from metal on metal when it has not changed and is still present. So now they will have to make a crystal nut and saddles. I don't buy it and will not buy it at 7 grand.

You may be on to something there...

The price will probably go down after they are done milking the TGP cash cow.

One thing I would wonder about is the durability in the breakage department @ $318 a fret, they better have a lifetime warranty.

Swarovski is mad expensive. It cost my woman over $100 just to bling her ipod case.

What don't you buy?

I may not agree with the distortion claims at face value but the sustain and lifetime of use CAN be assumed based on science.

I see your point about the nut an bridge! I suspect they'll design guitars around theses frets with zero frets and at least crystal saddles.

I'm gonna get those for my particle board guitar. Wonder if it will improve the toanz?
