So rumor haz it that George's backline has a Marsha or two and the Randall & Diezels out front are for show on his current tour, can anyone confirm?

Why would he have Diezels for show!? he doesn't even get endorsed by them...If he does have them he plays them for sure.

Doesn't make much sense to me, i'm trying to find fact from fiction.

Quote from my buddy who saw him play last Monday at Arizona Petes in GSO N.C.

He was using an old Marshall cab with a Lynch Box amp head without removable modules - not like other typical Lynch Boxes I've seen that have 3 removable modules.

he is using a lime green diezel herbert for main amp.....there are several videos on youtube, and one in the diezel namm booth with this amp, and you can see the case with the lynch mob logo on it.
nice tone indeed.....

Just saw him a few weeks ago and here's his rig. If you look close, there's no cable plugged into the LB. He had a Friedman Naked behind his cabinets that he was playing in place of the LB. I stood directly in front of him and watched him switch between the Naked, Sullivan, and Fender. He mostly played the Naked and Sullivan together.

I remember that Lynch Mob thread, that's where i saw that.

What`s the deal with the Sullivan? Do you know Dave?
I asked this already and got no response. It's a great sounding amp and along with the Naked.... :rawk:

The Sullivan is basically a Trainwreck Liverpool clone. Maybe slightly different, but it was definitely in that Trainwreck camp: gainy, touch senstive, and brittle/British in a Vox way (and an endearing way). That complex midrange sound mixed with a big bottomed high gain amp like the Naked sounds like it would be amazing. I played and serviced the Sullivan by itself and I was "meh" on it....sounds like a limping Liverpool...

Correct the Naked

Is that my old Naked?

Steve
You sure do get around you slut

George should sit it front and center. That is one ugly fucking rig he is toting around now....

I thought he was playing a lime green Herbie though.

Steve

The picture shows the same rig I saw at his St Paul, MN show in Jan. At the guitar clinic he played a Lynch Box and a small Koch Head.

Found this pic on another page. I guess this is what lurks behind the "fake" stuff. George is great, his phrasing is still incredible (IMO). I wonder what the Randall people thought about him demoing his new guitars in the Diezel booth, when they were 50 yards away for the debut of his new LB 103 amp :gethim: .

His pedalboard has changed as well (typical George). Gone is the prototype Fulltone Deja-Vibe, and the T rex Replica delay, in their places are a Strymon Blue Sky, and a Strymon El Capistan Delay (If your not familiar with the El Capistan, check it out!! The baddest delay out there at the moment!). He is also using a Framptone amp switcher, and occasionally an old Vox wah (so much for the Morley GL Tripler and Dragon wah!) I am not sure he's ever actually used anything he has endorsed
