It's been a while now that I've been out of the gear/music stuff and am starting to get back into it. Just curious on what the current values are on pre 500 Dual rectos and rev F's these days. I tried searching but can't find any that have sold lately. Looks like I'm losing my butt on my Framus and Fryette gear, I'm hoping my Mesa stuff is holding it's own.

I can't speak for market values at the moment, but I can tell you that I wouldn't consider selling my Rev F #635 for less than $1200. I think that's a pretty good ballpark figure for these era amps -- give or take $a couple hundred bucks.

I think the pre-500 are holding value. The rest I think are in the $800-1300 range.

I think there's a dude on here selling a ractofier for $2800 and I'm really not sure where that prices comes from.

I think they are selling for around $1500 to 2K for a real pre 500. I have a Rev C (#98) that I'll never sell that I got for 1K. I consider that a really good price, but that involved special circumstances. IE, it was having issues and I talked the guy down from 1.5k. I think all the revisions sound great up until the 3 channels. But yeah, I don't see the old Rectifiers depreciating.

And about that Racktifier; I'm pretty sure those are Rev F's. Not totally sure. But 2.5k for a Racktifier is silly. More like 1.5k,or less.

I was on the hunt for a "Rackto" about a year ago. They were all in the $1200-$1500 range at the time.
For the heads it depends a lot on the cosmetics too. A rev F Triple with the chrome chassis/black face plate is going to be more desirable than the standard black chassis/chrome plate.

People ask what they will but two have sold recently at $1100 and 1200 and $2800 for a racktifier is stupid money.

Most people asking more money is emotional attachment, or delusional ebay asking prices...

I'm in at $1550 on my rev C, which is a 9.5/10 condition black face and $1000 in my rev F blackface 10/10 condition.

I personally wasn't blown away by the rev C, it is a smooth sounding amp for a rectifier, but IMHO my rev F basically sounds just as good, or even better due to the Kt88/KT66 power tube combo I run in my rev F.

Yeah, that guy that want's $2500+ for that ractifer is in looney toon land. He must be offly proud of that "mod" that is done to the loop. But, I doubt anyone really cares.

I also had a rev G chrome/chrome for a short time.
