Hey guys,
My best friend (Rockstarnick) and his dad (http://www.pierrocustomguitars.com/) have recently started building guitars in the last few years. I checked out one of their Esquire builds and thought it was great. Since I had been wanting a Carbionita but not wanting to drop $3000 on a Fender, I commissioned them to build me one. Its nice a light Swamp Ash with a quarter sawn Maple neck. I went with Stainless Steel frets and Sprezel locking tuners since I love them on my Suhrs. Basically I was looking for vintage tone and styling with some modern enhancements. This baby doesn't disappoint!!!
The finish is a Shoreline Gold nitro that I wanted lightly relic's. For pickups, I went with a Powertron in the bridge and a TV Classic in the neck, obviously by TV Jones. I wanted it to have a little more output for some classic rock or modern country tones. You will notice in the pics that the pickups still need to be relic'd. We didn't do that initially in case I wanted to exchange them for others. However, they are staying and will get relic'd soon! Anyway, it was a beautiful spring day yesterday so I decided to take some pics! Here is the link to the album on flickr:

And here are some samples!
