Anybody ever order a custom from this shop? I don't even know if they are still producing but I think I need a Korina v without all those controls and pickguards.

If your talking Robin guitars from
Texas they closed up a while back
I have a black medley that i got many years ago nice guitar

I actually spoke to the shop and talk to Dave, great guy. Although I was hoping to move on a build he said they aren't fully staffed. Maybe doen the road...

Sounds like a scam - the business out of TX has been shut down for years. Id approach with caution.

Likewise, they seem like overpriced super strat based designs that offer nothing you can’t get from piecing one together on your own. No novel neck pockets. No archtops or wood selection options. No guarantee of sounding good like Tom andersons who doesn’t let a bad sounding guitar go out the door. Your call.

There is no scam , they were incredibly made guitars
If it is Dave Wintz thats who i bought mine from he grabbed on off the rack and sent it to my dealer in Montreal , nice guy on the phone
And the guitar out of the case was incredible was my main workhorse for years and never let me down

That was him, too bad bc I don't really want to ask anyone else for resale reasons. I know soneone local who works out of his garage who builds and does repairs for the community here and can do it. He builds violins and even copied a king v once, (miss that one) and I may still ask him yet since there is total control of every detail. Calling Dave was a spontaneous response from something I saw on the net last night. Who can resist a string through korina....

From what I recall, they were toying with getting back at it - maybe building a few guitars - but nothing came of it.
