Are those the regular sized ones with a sharp tip, Daniel?

I use Ultex JazzIIIs which are fantastic!

Yes, they're like the size of a regular Fender pick. I used Jazz III's for years but can't now. To small.

I've been using the Ultex Jazz IIIs but I just ordered some Sharp 1mm and 2mm pics to try out

I have a bunch of those here as well, I can't play those either, too small.

Now i know how my ex-girlfriends felt about me.

Dunlop needs to make Ultex Jazz III XLs and I would probably be set for life.

small pp? I just ordered some .90 and 1.0 to see how I like these compared to the jazz III that I can't hold for a long time.

Order a bottle of Stiff Nights, it'll set ya "straight"

Been using Ultex 1.00 sharps and jazz IIIs...prefer the sharps for everything except shred solos. For a better attack, I still dig Pickboy metacarbonate 1.00's.

I just started using the Ultex Sharp 1mm's about 3 weeks ago.
I love the way they feel, and love the sharp point.
My only complaint is that they wear out so damn fast and I'm not even a heavy picker at all.
I have been using those glow in the dark EBE alien face picks for about 10 years, and never even saw the slightest drop of wear on a single pick.
Wish the Ultex would last like that, but maybe it's just my picking style and the fact that they are pointed.

Now Dan, just try the Red Bear picks and you'll be even more pissed at us!

$20 a pick :scared: :aww:
No thanks.
For $20 a pick, it better make me play like Guthrie and NEVER wear out.
I don't see what could possibly make the pick worth $20.
I'm in no way cheap, but I'm not stupid either.

I thought the same way until I tried one, I was freaking floored. Too much money to spend on picks so I only keep three around at a time to have and I use the Jazz III's the rest of the time. But the clarity and pick speed I get with the red bear Jazz III is insane compared to the dunlop. Worth the $20 even though I will not buy many at a time or many in a given year. But to be honest they are the best picks I have played ever.....

I can't see spending $20 bucks for a pick either. The Ultex Jazz III's are good enough for me.

That about sums it up. I bet there was a time when you guys weren't "stupid" enough to buy a boutique or modded amp for several thousand dollars either, but you get what you pay for. It's worth buying at least one to see what you think.

I started using the Ultex Sharp 1.14 picks, and now i can't use anything else. Bastids. :gethim:

I know what you mean. I'm now married to the 1.14's. Matter of fact, last weekend after a day of drinking, I cancelled band practice because I ran out of them and GC was closed

Just take a razor a smooth them out. They'll last forever.
