Its funny. 99% of all the classics (overdrives mostly) sound great right out of the box and don't need to modified IMO. It's not like Engineers didn't know what they were doing back then and now everything needs to be fixed. Pedal modding is so dumb BUT, I'm sure there are some exceptions like maybe a true bypass mod if absolutely necessary.
