I found out about this tube type through DAR amps, it's pretty mcuh unused in valve amps. The valves, as I'm sure you know were designed for use in radio amplfiers, the GC33C valve I believe was used in Russian MIG jets.

Hey guys, just saw this thread. I've got a few videos on youtube of it, I'm going to be doing some more as time goes on showing more about the amp but I covered a good range of the 4 channels all though I do need to do some independent ones of all the settings so people can hear the tweakability!
What questions did you have about it man? I love the thing, built like a tank and a killer amp!

I do like Diezel amps a lot though. It's a different machine with a different sound to it, but it easily competes with any of the other major players on the market, in every category. The nice part to is the channels are very very easy to dial in. The eq is responsive but not over kill, there are just a lot of great tones in the amp and it's all about what you want.
The amp is incredible articulate and gain for days and days, it's very quite, and built very very well. Also the tubes are actually self biasing, this is NOT to be confused with mesas cold/fixed bias, this amp actually runs the tubes consistently at 50% of full power, and is also class A, which is something unique to any other high gain amp out there (as far as I know anyways)!
It's not really a new toy for me, I've had it for a while now and am really getting to know it better, it's a great great amp man, and honestly what you wouldn't think from a high gain amp like this. The crunch and clean channel are just absolutely a pleasure to play and LOVE LOVE LOVE pedals man. It's just a sick amp. Any questions feel free to ask... !

That is how I feel about the Blackmore, too stiff, almost SS in feel. The amp sounds good, it's more 'open,' it just doesn't feel good, to me. Which in turn qualifies you to answer this: Does that Fendery clean from the DAR feel as good as it sounds? And how does it feel when using higher gain?
