I'm looking for dark and warm sounding Celestion speaker. Right now I'm mainly playing stoner and Greenback 25W is too bright and too harsh for me. Any ideas which one of the Celestions is the darkest/warmest? Or maybe I should look for something else?

The 70 watts...but most people HATE them...but that makes them the cheapest too.

I agree with the old G12-65. For new production the Classic Lead 80 is neutral but not necessarily dark. It's dark compared to a new production Greeny though.

FWIW, if you need just one G12-65 PM me. I have a 16ohm that I'm not using.

Right. I thought of the CL80 too but it has a brightness that's similar to an H30. Not obnoxiously bright but not dark.

Generally anything that has a larger Dust Cap.

Overall that sounded great! sounded ballsy at the end with the structure switch on,and then played through the Nash Stratocaster really nice tones! I really never that I know of have listened to alnico speakers but now I know how good they sound..perfect match for the BE100.
