I played my first Friedman production amp recently , and while it was a killer amp , I didn't find any more exciting than a stock 800 with a $60 boost. Just my opinion of course.

Similar , but different. The JVM is a very refined sound. A good modded Marshall sounds like its on the verge all the time ( to me anyway ). That being said , with a mic on it , through a solid PA , I'll put a JVM up against most modded Marshall circuit amps out there , including the ones that cost a metric shitload more ( and I have spent more than my fair share of metric shitloads on said amps)

Is your strategy to act like a complete and total tool until Dave pays you to stop promoting his work? Based on how many players will probably steer clear of Friedman based solely on your constant pimping, I'd say you have a great chance of success.
