I agree. I had some issues with one of my modded Marshalls and I called Dave up. he stayed on the phone as we trouble shot the issue. It was the amp I bought from LP Freak so it was an older mod of his. Let's be honest, I got 2 Friedman modded amps, I doubt I will send any more money Dave's way, yet he was willing to help me.

Dave is top-notch! I've had g.a.s. over a lot of amps over the last few years, but after hearing my recto and the amps in this shootout, gotta say Dave is the man!!!! Some of the other amps sounded wicked good (Reeves, Wizard, Diezel VH4, Bogner Goldfinger, Dr Z) but Dave's are just perfect. His work also seems the most consistent. I mean, have you ever heard a bad Friedman mod or build? I didn't think so.

BTW, the Naked to my ears had just a tiny bit of that VH4 vibe happening, but was more organic. Sounded amazing!
