cuz he's a great showman with a unique style, and 3 guitars have maidens sound alot bigger.

I think I just found my next guitar.... :inlove: Next question: who has it and will they ship to the US?

Ikebe Gakki in Japan sells it, not sure if they can ship it to the US? I didn't think they could sell any Fender Japan stuff to people in the US, but JC (johnny toetags) just bought a Fender Japan bass from them?

You can get it from Ishibashi also (special order).
You can buy Fender Jpn gear and ship it to North America, for now.

I like Dave's red Jackson strat

Thanks, fellas....I may be brushing up on my Japanese after my tax refund hits. :D

Ishibashi's international dept. speak almost perfect engrish :D

I just got back from seeing maiden twice on their aussie tour, was awesome.
Jannick does dance around a lot more than the others, but I prefered just watching Dave and Adrian takin care of business on the other side.
Was surprised to see Adrian was playing Jackson Strats

they probably like him.

Like when Mr. Brett left Bad Religion, they replaced him with Brian Baker. Then Brett returned and now he, Brian, and Greg Hetson all play guitar in the band. And they're a punk band at that. At least in a metal band 3 guitarists actually makes more sense :D

Janick has actually been in the band for more years than Adrian. And look at the songwriting credits on their last three albums, he writes a ton of stuff, which I absolutely love. He's pretty much always playing the melody lines in those newer songs as well. I think he's a great player and it works really well for them having 3 guitars in the band, they all have really distinct styles. Listen to Janick's solos in the songs No More Lies and Dance Of Death from the Dance Of Death album. Absolutely killer solos.

Or you could try to find an old Iron Maiden Strat. One of the best guitars I've ever played. One of the few guitars I really regret getting rid of.

janick is awesome definitely. great riff in ghost of the navigator. just not as keen on him as adrian and dave.

He dances and prances a lot on stage :D

and hes sloppy as hell when he plays lead!

although i cant deny that hes written some kick ass riffs, i just prefer the Adrian and Dave show. Live After Death was my first real taste of Maiden and Adrian's tone and solos still kick my ass to this day. MXR Distortion + into cranked Marshall FTW!

He can be sloppy sometimes live, yeah. He was fine when I saw them though. And I actually prefer their newer tones. Brave New World and Dance Of Death both have near perfect tones IMO.

this isn't skynyrd...it's maiden

when adrian came back...janick should've been shown the door

Hiroaki at Ishibashi doesn't know anything about it.

Dave sort of has a signature guitar now, at least in Japan. I don't think it's a true signature model, but it's an exact copy of his classic '57 Strat only it has a Floyd...which makes it cooler.

its a bit suprising that he never got a signature model. he's one of the greatest people to play the stratocaster.

Gers = :gethim: .......he dances around too much!
