Dave's Clean Channel

Can you guys tell me the difference between the simple and true clean. I assume the simple is just the one volume knob activated by footswitch. Does the true clean channel share the eq? Etc. Also does his FX loop affect the tone?

I think the true clean is Bass, treb, vol where as the simple clean has a preset eq with only vol. You can tailor the highs on the simple clean with the presence though. FX loop is very transparent.
