Davies N4 + PLEK= AMAZING!

Picked up my '91 Davies N4 today after having fretwork and a PLEK job from Philtone here in Baltimore. Holy Shit! This thing plays like butter! This guitar may be my new #1 now. I think the N4 is one of the most underated/underused guitars in rock. Next up is my '90 RG770. I think I may have all my guitars PLEK'd in the near future.

Has anyone else had this done to their guitars? It is well worth the money.
 
i dont like how much material a plek job takes off. i wear down frets enough just by playing. most of my guitars dont qualify with enough fret to have it done anyway.

i prefer doing it the old fashioned way that way you can control how much you take off with pressure. there are alot of variables to fret leveling - i honestly would not even attempt to think of the idea unless i had stainless frets in a guitar which eats through diamond files pretty quick.
