Deadweald Duality DX - Well This Thing Rips

I picked this thing up after watching Jason Frankhouser's IG video pumping the Red Channel through a 2203. It sounded ungodly, in a good way.

Never heard a single pedal pushing an 800 create that much saturation and tightness, so I had to give it a shot. Upon research, the pedal included built in noise gates that fall after the boost circuits so it's dead silent when gating.

Deadweald is super small and I couldn only find them on Facebook but I hit them up and got one on preorder, it finally showed up this week.

Both the TS9 and TC integrated Pre circuits sound killer, no complaints on either, and the stackable mode that combines both is perfect for pushing mid-lower gain amps into high gain thrash territory. It's wild.

Of course, I did a video for it. Check it out below if it sounds cool to you. This will be replacing my main boost and gate on my pedal board as of today.

 
I had the standard and was able to try the DX for a couple days before I had to send it to Jason to demo. I didnt think he could have improved the standard but damn if he didn't. I ended up selling my Zuul to get a noise gate from Deadweald and he ended up sending me the DX so I'm really thrilled that worked out better in my favor.

They have a few projects in the works now that I think people are really going to enjoy. And one that if it comes to fruition will be a game changer and I dont say that lightly.
 
Nice. I have the standard and did a vid on it a while back Killer pedal. He's sending me a DX to check out as well. I think the Deadweald is probably the best boost of 2020. There are a couple "mega-hyped" pedals that don't come close to being as good as even the standard Duality when it comes to sousing good across multiple amps.

You are going to love the DX. It's pretty killer. The red channel is fantastic.
 
Shit, just when I thought my new and improved (bigger) pedalboard was just about done. I can live without a TS. I can live without a TC IP, I can live without a noise gate ( I actually dislike them 99% of the time) but all three rolled into one??? I think I might need to get one. :doh:

Hahahah, hard to say no when you get so much in 1 box and it all works so well!
 
I liked how these sounded since JerEvil posted his clips on it. I almost bought the last one here on the classifieds, but alas.....

When both are engaged is the TC IP boosting the TS9 in series? sounds great
