Found half an old pack I had sitting around.. had a look online to see their gauges and i like the options.. a quick search had some people liking them and other's saying they broke quick. Personally, I thought D'addario's used to break more on me and they seem to be one of the most widely used strings around.. check the chart here :
Gauge:
2501 Extra Light 8 11 14 22 30 38
2502 Light 9 11 16 24 32 42
2508 Custom Light 9 11 16 26 36 46
2509 F150 10 13 15 26 32 38
2503 Regular 10 13 17 26 36 46
2504 Light Top/Heavy Bottom 10 13 17 30 42 52
2505 Medium 11 13 20w/18p 30 42 52
I like the look of the F150.. always wanted heavy on the top and to try a 15 on the G string to really get some crazy vibrato.. not sure i'd be so crazy about the 38 on the low E though..
What's everyone's experience with playing lighter gauges or mixed gauges and dean markley in general?
