Dean Markley strings? Not spoken of much..

Found half an old pack I had sitting around.. had a look online to see their gauges and i like the options.. a quick search had some people liking them and other's saying they broke quick. Personally, I thought D'addario's used to break more on me and they seem to be one of the most widely used strings around.. check the chart here :

I like the look of the F150.. always wanted heavy on the top and to try a 15 on the G string to really get some crazy vibrato.. not sure i'd be so crazy about the 38 on the low E though..

What's everyone's experience with playing lighter gauges or mixed gauges and dean markley in general?
 
Well looks like maybe i'll take the plunge and let the rest of you know how they sound!
 
I have been using Dean Markley Regulars (10 - 46) on all of my guitars for over 20 years. They are my favourite string by a wide margin. I change my strings before every gig, and I find the Markley's break-in quickly. Perhaps they don't last as long as other strings, but I don't care because they're only on my guitars for one show anyways.....

As for your D'Addario comment: I agree. I stopped using them years ago because I found they broke really easily.
 
I prefer Dean Markley strings. Love them. Sound great and last a long time for me. I prefer cheaper signature set over blue steel also.
 
As a matter of fact, daddarios won't intonate on my ESP with floyd. Markleys perfect!
 
Carl Verheyen has a sig set that he says makes his floating bridge have balanced tension and intonation. Looked interesting.
