Hello ;)
I want to know what do you think about tone of this guitar ?
Yes , i own one (black) , all things like fretwork etc were inspected by luthier - I wanted to have a axe that will allow me to practice - without bothering and handicap. So please - skip the quality work , cause mine was corrected and all is correct for my playing.

Ah , of course you will wondering why I'm asking about that type of question - I own this axe so I should know.
Yes , I own one , but I'm afraid that maybe I'm not impartial , objective and and under influence of "wow effect" due to I bought this guitar for MY OWN money ( I'm 19 years old , I worked hard to get this axe).

Cheers !

How does it matter what we think about the guitar??????

Read my post again and you will understand ;)

I'm really only interested in one thing - If i can compare this axe to other V's like Gibson Flying etc ... Of course in sound quality.
I don't have much opportunity to compare to other v's due to shops stuff - mostly LP , explorers .

That is all for my mental comfort - It will be much better if I know that my axe is at the same quality of sound level as other guitars .

No, I don't....

If you think it plays well and sounds good, then that's how it is.

Do you think it sounds good?

Really ? I don't know. One day i dig the tone fucking much , the other - I hate it.
.But as i said previously - Unfortunately , I can't compare it to other axes.

You know - I can think that I'm receiving a good tone , but really - it can be really shitty compared to Gibson Flying V.
I know that it can be possible. For example :
4 years ago ( I bought my first guitar - Epiphone LP Junior and new amp - Randall KH-15. Yeah I know , I was such a idiot) I was total beginner.
I thought that I have ideal tone , I liked it very very much. But when I was in the shop to buy new strings I saw an LP copy (Vintage - anyone know this producer ?) and Blackstar Ht5h.
I played though this rig and ... For fuck sake , I realised that I've got a really rubbish in my house and instantly I hated tone of my gear. I sold my old gear and I bought this Vintage guitar and Blackstar Ht5h. After about a year in shop I saw Dean VMNT ... God , I was in love ... Played though the same amp - and ... Yes of course , I hated now my Vintage V100 sound and sold it and bought Dean.
Now I"m in that point I have a Dean and Blackstar ...

If you like how it sounds and how it feels then it's good for you. Why do you care so much what others think? Don't worry about how your guitar compares to others. If you like it then that's all that matters. You said what if you think the tone is good but then realize it sucks compared to a Gibson. That's not how it works, either you think it's good or not. If you think your tone is good then it's good for you. If you get a Gibson and like that tone better then you now like that tone better, doesn't then mean the previous tone was bad. Remember, tone is subjective, there's no good, bad, better, worse...

Be happy with the guitar you have and stop worrying so much about these little things. That's what starts the never ending disorder called GAS.

Thanks ;)
Unfortunately I know what is GAS and I'm afraid that I'm a victim of it ...

I want to have and try so many guitars like Gibson Explorer , SG , ESP V , Dean ML , Bernie Rico Vixen , BC Rich Bich
and also amps :
Peavey 6505+ , Marshall JVM410H , Bogner Uberschall , Marshall JCM 800 2203 , Fryette SiX
and cabs :
Mes Recto 4x12 OS , Marshall 1960AV , Marshall 1960DM , ENGL 4x12 PRO XXL , Diezel 4x12

And still i have one annoying thing : One day I dig my tone , other - hate it. And go in circles ...

Does it mean i have GAS ?

I always fall victim to GAS but recently cured a BIG portion of it. I've been dying for a Mesa Mark III for years, finally bought one and was everything I expected and so much more. Really don't have much desire for other amps at the moment but I will again eventually. There's still things I want to play but my Mark III fills almost all my needs better than I can imagine.

But for guitars I'm still all over. I selling gear to fund a custom ML (not Dean, not paying $4k+ for the name). But I've played/owned most of the guitars and amps in your list. Sticking with Dean ML's and Mesa Mark's.

I think you will always have good and bad days with your gear.
When a "BAD" day comes up for me.....I usually just put the guitar down and dont try to play thru it.
Just frustrates me more!
Wait for another time and then it you will love it again.
Its when it gets to be more BAD DAYS then good.....then sell it. ;)
