DESCRIPTION:
Title of the thread says it all. A local buddy of mine is on the hunt for one of these Dean "White Gold" versions of the '79 V, and I figured that I would make a post to help him out while I'm here. If anyone has one for sale, you'll be dealing with me for the transaction (cash handling, logistics, etc.) from start to finish.

USA-based buyer here with over a decade of experience buying/selling gear online. References available upon request.

I love those. I did see a black chrome version somewhere the other day. The white is based off Rick Emmitt’s signature dean right?

Yes, sir. As far as I'm aware, the run of "White Gold" V's that Dean did was based off Rik Emmitt's USA signature model and meant to be a lower-cost, import alternative. Dean just swapped the ebony fretboard for a lower-cost rosewood one, and came in at a lower price-point since the guitar was manufactured in Korea. Boom. Done.

Had a report that the Classifieds rules were broken.

In fact, they were not, so I'll leave your post intact but I'm going to place a [mod edit] comment into it that'll make it clear that the geetar is similar, but not-the-same.

I mean, it's not as if you've posted a pic of a surfboard or something else unrelated. :dunno:
