Saw some cool threads so I decided to rejoin.

Hope everyone is well.

I'm sure a few of you remember I left on my own free will after seeing things I didn't agree with. Brad was kind enough to terminate my user profile and posts. My apologies if that came off in a negative light. Wasn't my intention. I was mixed about ever rejoining, so I took a chance today. I'm sure there are people that don't like me, and that's okay. I'm not here to re-hash any crap or add any drama. I'm here to just to participate about gear we all enjoy.

Probably should have stayed out. Haha. Thanks.

That 5150 mod was pretty simple. Something like a 10pf cap across legs 6-7 and/or 7-8 on a preamp tube. It made another negative feedback loop to remove a little fizz/buzz. Then cutting a cap to tighten up the crunch channel, then lastly, bypassing a resistor off the input jack. I could look it up if you really need it.
 
Awesome! Great to have you back. Brad is currently incarcerated, so he's not around these parts anymore. Don't know if he's coming back or not. None the less, great to have you back, man. Your modded Marshall clips are among the best on the net and have been sorely missed.

Hey. I read all about that and it's sad. Hopefully everything works out for him and his family. I said some pretty negative things in the past about him that I wish I hadn't, but you live and learn. :aww: my whole issue with him was solely the Cameron debacle. Probably wasn't my business since I wasn't personally invested outside of hearing both sides of the story. Even then, it wasn't my business. Anyway, I'm not here to rehash that stuff. We've all moved on.

And when I say "knows" tone, I mean knew tone. I'm not sure what this current Boogie obsession is all about, but you'll come back around. Jim Marshalls spirit and I are ready to welcome you back. :lol: :LOL:

Good to see you back Dave. This place still has value in my eyes even though some don't feel the same. I like it here and always have.
 
You wont believe this, but Im really glad your back. Your a rippin player and a wealth of knowledge for alot of these guys.

Thanks. We never had any issue outside of the Cameron debacle...and that is long over with. :lol: :LOL:
