Cool.

How is the Pitchfactor for chorus effects? I was looking at getting the mod factor, but if I can kill two birds with one stone...

Damn!! If you get both, you're done... Game over. Might as well just buy all three then

Seriously, the ModFactor is sooooooooooooo laden with effects, it's nuts.

Peace,
V.

Well, it can definitely produce chorus and chorus-like effects... there are even a few chorus presets built from different effect types... but like I said it´s a bit of a different take on it. It doesn´t sound like a TC, for example.

Anyone know of a delay that can do a slight detune to the repeats? Kind of similar to a chorus effect, but more of a consistent pitch without the swirly sound?

I've been in love with the sound ever since I heard Sabbaths Live in '75 bootleg years ago as imparts a really thick/heavy tone on his guitar. I'm told it was a characteristic of the Korg tape echo he was using at the time. I'm looking for a more convenient option.

Now you know why I love chorus so much! ;)

The Electro Harmonix Memory Man does a modulated effect on its repeats. It's the basis of The Edge's guitar sound.

The DD-20 does it as well.

You can also try a Neunaber Chroma Chorus pedal, which is more of a pitch transposer- it splits the signal into three and offsets the pitch up & down slightly, like an Eventide Harmonisor. Because the pitch offset is constant, it doesn't wobble like a chorus pedal.

The Boss PS-5 does a nice detune effect without breaking the bank. I know the Pitchfactor is excellent but you can grab a PS-5 for a bunch lesss and get a really great tone with it.

Look at the EP-3 Toneprint video for the new TC Flashback. Might do what you want.
