Looking for a few strong Brimar ECC83/ 12AX7 tubes at a reasonable price. No weak / worn out tubes please. I have other vintage 12AX7 tubes that I may be willing to trade.

Keep in mind the label may say Brimar, but the actual tube may be something different. All of my Brimar tubes are actually Mullards (except for my Brimar labeled CV4004).

I appreciate your wisdom. I have never seen a Brimar in person. Sounds like I should be looking for Mullards instead if they are the same price.

I have a few and the plates almost look like half of a plate but I don't have any Mullards to compare. I got them from KCA probably 20 years ago and I'd be surprised if he unknowingly sold me Mullards. I wouldn't feel comfortable selling them though.
