Very cool Steve !

clean is beautiful
crunch is nicely full
rod is very cool !!!

Congrats !!!!
Thanks, Olaf! I had the PPIMV almost completely off for these clips so you can imagine how low the volume was. It sounds better LOUD, and boy is this thing LOUD!

Thanks again for all your help!

I thought the clean sound was cool. The dirty tones were a bit thin IMO...which would be typical of almost any tube amp at bedroom volumes. I'm guessing that this thing would round out quite a bit when opened up...looking forward to hearing it in that application  Love the look of the headshell!
Thanks man - as I said, I had my PPIMV turned almost off, so this was at really low volume. It really opens up nicely cranked up a bit, but I found that hard to capture with the Edirol pocket recorder thingy... Won't be a problem with my full scale recording setup...

On jamie's do you have some detune working, sounded HUGE!!!!!!

Great job Steve and congrats on your drive to see this through to the end, huge respect for you. That said I would like to hear the amp with some more air moving as I am thinking it would be just roaring.

Sounds fantastic!
Yeah - all I did was put that little recorder in front of my W/D/W setup, so you are hearing a stereo micropitchshift and some stereo delay in all the clips (+9/-9 cents)...

Thanks bro - it's been a long road, but it was totally worth it!

Thanks man - the only other amp I built before this one was at the Egnater Seminar and that certainly wasn't a scratch build, or a new design like this one...

Steve,
Congrats on a huge accomplishment! It's alive!. That clean channel is very cool. It has some grerat chime to it. The gain channels sound like they are going to just kill too once cranked. They sound really cool on this but with the clicking volume of your pick in realtion to the amp volume I can tell the amp was barely on.

I seriously can't wait to hear that thing in person. I think it's going to rule.

Thanks Curt! Yeah, this was super low volume - my PPIMV was almost complete down... That little Edirol recorder I used does not capture the loud amp well to me. Can't wait to crank up my real recording stuff to capture some loud tones...

Thats great Steve! Congradulations buddy for realising and completing this. Its a great feat none the less...you must be proud.

The 800 mode sounds nice and crunchy, but I'm hearing something in the high mids. What tone stack are you running?
Thanks man - The whole layout and schems are in my build thread, so you can check out what I did...
