Just got my Subdecay Spring Theory a few days ago.
Here's a demo/walkthrough video I made with audio from a Zoom H4n Handy Recorder:
This is an excellent reverb pedal.
Sweet and warm reverb tones with a spring and a room setting.
Like the Hermida Reverb, it plays great with all gain levels.
Unlike the Hermida Reverb, the tail is completely tweakable so that you can get anything from short springy reverbs, to a deep cavernous wash and anything in between.
It's my fave of all those I've owned before including:
- Hermida Reverb (my previous #1 reverb pedal).
- Neunaber Wet Reverb.
- Tech 21 Boost Reverb.
- TC Electronic Hall Of Fame.
- EH Holy Stain.
- and a few others I can't remember.
Here's some pics of the rig:
