took me longer to make this video that it took to install the mod...hope it is of some use/benefit to some.

Great job. I am not far from buying that amp,or maybe the new 20 w head.

i have a 2112 rc. i'm wondering if the depth mod would be done the same way on the combo version.. or would it be different because of the reverb?

Identical, Dave. Labelling of resistors could be different in the amp though.

thanks for the reply olaf. i figured it would probably be the same or similar. i'm going to bookmark this page so i can come back to it from time to time. thanks to johnny c for posting this.

id advise to get hold of the schematic for the 2112 and just double check. its pretty easy to figure out. same with not having to remove one of the 8ohms jacks...

those jacks are misleadingly labelled...its wired to be total 8 ohms irregardless of whether one jack is used or both (youre meant to use two 16ohm cabs in for a total of 8ohms) but i chose to remove one beacause all my cabs are 8 ohms.

thanks for your reply johnnyc. i thought the output jack labeling was confusing as well. when i first took it out of the box the speaker was plugged into one of the 2x8 ohm jacks.. so i measured the speaker resistance just to make sure and plugged it into the 16 ohm jack.
i've been playing it stock so far (and it's been fun) but it can be a bit thin sounding in some venues.
where can you find a schematic? i suppose i could google it.. but i'm lazy.
i'm out today helping a friend pour a concrete slab. thanks again.

i trawled through several forums and got 3 slightly varying schematics...so ended up going with he most legit one (that was apparently from doug/jetcity.)
after looking at the actual circuit board with the schematic in hand, its pretty easy to follow to verify.
