I think it needs less jibber-jabber and more pickin'! Derek is a badass!
 
Man his playing... it's like the way some old bluesman might sing. He is something very special.
 
yeah i think hes a cool player, but i also think he can get that same tone from just about any amp. his tone isnt that special to me, his playing is.

Yep, +1. I'm a bit sad to not see a Super Reverb with Derek, but I'm sure he will use the PRS on the road to give the Fenders a rest. They sound great too.

Oh I do disagree about his tone though. I LOOOOVE his Super Reverb tone. One of the best live shows I've seen was them on halloween.

his sg is rigged for that tone. different caps in the volume and tone controls of the guitar. he is great but watch him for an hour and i had enough ;)
