Well you know, this thread was started under the premise that we'd simply accept the fact it's just a 'term', you know, 'deserted island gear' - knowing full well we'd all be seeking a helluva lot of other more 'necessary' items if ever we found ourselves in such a predicament. So electrical power, food, water, all that shit was a given - in this completely hypothetical premise.

After some thought...
'57 Les Paul Black Beauty 3 pup (sad, I'd never wanna lose my others, but this one has the most tonal territory )
20thA XTC loaded with KT77s (everytime I turn it on it's exactly how an amp should sound)
Eventide PitchFactor (as it does delay, modulation, etc.)

That'd be it.

I suppose, in extrapolated theory, this thread's base question really boils down to 'if you could only have', and in some ways, I've answered my own question of 'what would I need to keep if I had no choice to have all the rest??'.

I was just thinkin about this tonight while playing my Goldtop Darkback... And thinking about all the 'desert island CDs' and the like. I thought, "I this my main axe..?". Or is it the Lemonburst....or the '57 Black Beauty....or the ESP NT-II....oh jeezus what about an amp?!?!? GAWD!!!! What would I do!?!?!?
