Desperate cry. I’m done.

first of all your country is stunning. Absolutely beautiful. At least in the mountains…. Second…gay porn…that’s where the monies at…it’s technically not gay if you’re the giving it…lol… both my boys in their senior year just landed jobs yesterday at $25/hour. Part time but can work as much as they want. Construction. And they will be learning a trade. Guy told them you can make well over a quarter million a year in this area alone. If you want to hit it and put that work in. Save up and come here. We have our issues but honestly I feel we truly are the land of opportunity bro.
I am so happy for your boys and you brother 🫶🏻

I guess if I manage the route rsm advised, I’ll be golden. Need to figure shit out and get myself a pc too.

I do have a job already.

Python and SQL is the way it seems.

Thanks for the advice.

Can't go wrong with Python and SQL; or database administration (DBA).

Getting your first entry level job without prior experience, no matter what technology you choose to learn, will be the biggest challenge.

IMO.

don't give up; don't stop learning;

hard work and good luck; always have a chance of meeting

Python is pretty straightforward and the syntax is a little friendlier than some of the other stuff. Tons of great content on YouTube. You don't have to be a seasoned coder, just get some basic fundamentals, even if it's just the "hello world" level stuff. Main thing is to be able to at least reference them on a resume (i wouldn't advocate over-selling your skill level, but a basic understanding and experience level shows them that you have some level of aptitude for technology and can learn on the job). Powershell and SQL are helpful for my role, but i'm not an engineer\developer, i'm just an analyst.

Tons of remote support roles out there.

Once I reach employable level, I will also reach out to all IT people I know to maybe get a jumpstart/recommendation. If you could give me one l, they would snatch me in a second 😂

Quality Assurance / Testing are also roles that don't require deep coding experience.

Just because you take a job as an analyst or in testing doesn't mean you can't continue to learn Python, SQL or anything else.

Several times in my career, after I had work experience; I'd learn new technologies, products. programming languages, etc., to have the skills needed to get my next job. I repeated this process many times over my 40+ year IT career.

Tester market seems to be overwhelmed. I wish I knew you in IT, my brother finished an QA Automation course and couldn’t land anything in US.

Yeah, I understand that you can build it brick by brick. It is an endless road.

Happy to have you as an advisor 🤝🏻
