Yeah we really took our time on the patchbay layout. It's gonna be really versatile.

Thats great man! Are you going to be using the channel strips on the SSL for tracking ?

wow man, WAY impressive.

love when the kid looked at it and just couldn't say anything but "da da!"

so awesome!

As I was watching, all I could think was how "sexy" that board looks, then at the end found I wasn't alone.

Sure is a lot of real estate to cover from one end to the other, a chair with a good set of casters is in order.

Thanks again for sharing, James.

damn that sounds killer, i swear i cant get enough of that setup james, even after youtube's crappy compression it still sounds killer

Day 7, man we are getting close I can feel it. Had a good crew in working today. Marko thinks we will be passing signal tomorrow. What a journey:

Day 6 & 7

Day 9 video is a little lame but has a couple funny things. We are getting there:

what a journey.

that torched wire to the faulty rectifier bridge would have been just cause for a nervous breakdown!

everything all nicely tie wrapped and dressed....BBZZBBZTZT!!!! and that dude's laugh..... :scared: okayyyyy....

but you know there will come a moment very soon when you are sitting at center console, listening to something you recorded and mixed, and think it was all worth it.

I really enjoy your videos so far James! By the way, whatever happened to the footage that was shot by the guy with the steady cam for the website?

I ended up not using it, it just didn't happen.

Day 14 was a success:

Your studio looks awesome, James! I can't even imagine what your feelings are when you're watching the whole thing come together!

BTW, this is one of the most interesting threads I've seen...
