Detroiter or Rebel Yell

I would default to the Bare Knuckles automatically. Every email and question I've sent to Tim, even on weekends, gets answered in less than 24 hours, and within the hour during their work day.
I've emailed Motor City from their website three times now over the past year, most recently last week. I've never ever received a single reply.
Screw you if you can't answer a potential customers' simple question or two.
All things being equal, "Made in the USA" vs "Import" does not even show up on my radar when your customer service sucks.

BKP FTW!!

I had AWESOME service from Wade at MCP. I talked to him on the phone several times...

Me too. Great service and Wade's a super cool guy.

Hmm, I've had a handful of emails answered from Wade and he has always seemed really cool & informative.

So what did you decide to go with?

Not trying to slam the guy, but after three emails in the course of a year and no response, I have to figure he just does not want another customer.

Maybe try the phone number. Maybe he hates email like I do.
I have to figure you just don't want one of his pickups.

Holy Cow! Is that necessary?
Maybe some of us can't make personal phone calls during Detroit time work hours, and email is a more convenient method of gathering info?

edit: If he's your close personal friend or blood relative, then I'm sorry you gotta make it personal. Please give him a message to check his email because I am interested in a couple different things he has.

And just a suggestion, if you don't like email, and you don't want to call me back at the phone number I provided,
then you should probably remove this contact form from your website.

I'm leaning towards the Painkiller based on some suggestions here, on the BK forum, & from Tim. Before I bite though I'm trying to find out more info on the Angel Dust. My interest is sparked with those, just isn't too much out there on it from what I've found. About all I've found is it's JB-like without the fizz. But I don't know that pickup too well other than the guitars I'd played with a JB I didn't like. That said it could be the JB wasn't the best match for those axes cause I finally played an axe a few months back that sounded killer w/the JB. How would you describe the Angel Dust?

MCP is/was for the most part a one man show, I would at least try to call him before giving up. Call off hours, maybe he will pick up..

Peace!

The low end pick attack is what attracts me to it over the Afwayu, very sharp but not in an offensive way. The Angel Dust has an unreal clarity to it almost chimey, but still aggressive as hell. Not Fizzy at all and nothing like a JB IMO.

What I'm after personally, (not trying to hijack) is an Angel Dust vs Nailbomb comparison. By description I thought the Afwayu might be close, but it's not.

I'm no help there. Never used a BKP although I want to.
