This demo sounds awesome - thanks for posting it.
I've owned my Mark V combo for close to 9 months now and I'm still finding new tones and textures. I have settings for each channel that I favor for a 'plug & play' approach - settings I can dial in by sight in a matter of 30 seconds or less regardless of the status of the controls when I pull the amp cover off. It great to have this memorized because at least one channel is likely to be set to some great new sound that hasn't yet been balanced with the other channels.
Right now I'm really digging Ch2/Edge for old school Marshall sounds and Ch3/MkIIc+ because it sounds so aggressive, expressive, explosive! Most of my time in Ch3 to date has been spent in Extreme mode as I really like the 'feel' of this mode under my fingers. I like all three modes but Extreme seemed the best fit for me right off the bat. I have no recent experience with a IIc+ or IV and little in the past to speak of so I haven't tried to draw any comparisons or conclusions about how these modes might measure up to their namesakes. Both are clean slates for me. After spending a good bit of time with Ch3/IIc+ I'm finding its feel/response equally as appealing as I have the Extreme mode, albeit with a different approach. This mode really has my attention right now - it's inspiring to play through!
