Good question. Ive never been able to track down any vids of that era with material off that album. What a great record. Probably my favorite album begining to end that he ever did.

Yeah i cannot find any vids. That album is part of the reason i bought a Bogner XTC.

Ive always wanted to try an XTC. Ive came close to pulling the trigger on one a few times. I wasnt aware that he tracked that album with one?

I believe that George used the coveted 100b version for Sacred Groove. The tone sounds very "Bognerish" to me.

He may have done a few shows with Mandy Lion and Ray Gillian. But no tour im sure. Was that after Lynch Mob or between the two albums?

It was a "prototype" bogner amp. I remember the article where George said a tall/skinny German guy ( Reinhold) showed up at the studio with a prototype amp wearing Biker Shorts....came back a few days later and picked up the amp. George said he loved it and wanted to keep it.

Love the album too, great solo and great rhythm work. I was hoping to see George playing love power from the mama head live, but just never happened. "Flesh And Blood" and "Not Necessary Evil" are 2 of my favo solos from Lynch~

You can find Flesh And Blood live on youtube which he played few years ago..

On his old website the 100b was the amp listed for SG

I never totally trusted the accuracy of the old website. I think "Jerry" (George's old tech) was adding some of that info and some of it was not totally accurate. If may well have been the 100B but it was probably the prototype or the first one that Reinhold still owns with the "coverless" transformer. It would be neat to know which one it was though.

I hear you. Still i've played a few Shivas, owned an Uberschall and i'm on my 2nd Ecstacy. The tone on that album sound like theEcstacy 's red channel to me

Yeah pretty sure it was a prototype 100B. I think he's played a few tracks from that album here and there when he's done non Lynch Mob and non Dokken shows. I remember hearing he did a guest appearance at a G3 show when he lived in Arizona and did Satan's Shorts.

+1.

On several occasions Gerry gave me info contrary to info given to others. I don't think it was intentional or malicious though.

I was at that show in Phoenix, and he didn't do Satans shorts. He just did the end of show blues Jam along with Vai and Satriani and Eric Johnson. Red House, etc.
