How long before insurance companies require EV's to be parked outside of the garage?

That's now how it works. This is the land of the slave and the home of the fee. They will just raise the premiums on both your car and your home, further making car ownership and home ownership more difficult. A win-win for high society.

Im in the insurance business.
That and exclusions for electric bikes have been on my mind for a while

Im not ready for an EV.
Im just warming up to a hybrid.
My lease is up in april
Hybrid is a front runner if the price is right

Batteries have a finite life. If you turn over your vehicles from new fairly regularly it's not an issue. I would be wary of buying a second hand one though.
