Diesel vs Rhodes

I'm gassing for a new amp. My current band is doing heavy rock ie: Creed, Breaking Ben, god smack, Alice in chains etc...
I've owned both the Hagen, and Herbert. And seemed to like the Herbie a little better.
Just curious how the Rhodes fits in here.
How are they different, how are they similar.
 
Those bands you mentioned (except for Alice in Chains) used Rectifiers for the majority of their recorded tones.

I've never played a Rhodes, so I can't comment on them. But of the Diezels, the VH4 would probably suit you best.

Tremonti helped voice it has that
